Junior Clara Crain of Edgewood High in Indiana placed second in the girls 5-kilometer silver race at the RunningLane Cross Country Championships at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Ala. Crain clocked 17:44.56 to finish just behind sophomore Jayne Halterman of Dragonslayer XC and Independence High in Tennessee, who prevailed in 17:43.37.
